    Voice Dialogue: An Introduction

    Topic

    Voice Dialogue: An Introduction

    Presenter

    Tamara Yates, MDiv, ThM

    Date

    Monday, September 16, 2019

    6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

In Voice Dialogue therapists address specific parts of a client’s psyche by engaging those parts in dialogue. The goal is to foster healing by allowing people to delve into their psyche in a safe environment. This approach, often used in conjunction with other forms of therapy, aims to uncover what is present, not what is “wrong” or missing. Individuals seeking therapy to address conflicting thoughts, emotions, or values, especially when making life decisions, may find Voice Dialogue helpful.

Tamara Yates has been facilitating Voice Dialogue for several years. She trained with J’aime ona Pangaia, a senior trainer for Voice Dialogue founders Hal and Sidra Stone with over 30 years of practice. In 2013, she completed a 2-year Transformational Arts Program that focused on Voice Dialogue, archetypal studies, and dream work. Subsequently, she facilitated 100 sessions with supervision from Ms. ona Pangaia.

Tamara offers sessions to individuals and couples at her Corvallis office and online. She also teaches Dancing with the Selves, a course in Voice Dialogue.
