I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at Center for Developing Hope. I am board certified to treat people across the lifespan. I began my education at LBCC. From there I earned a BS in psychology from Western Oregon University. After working for several years as a case manager in the mental health field, I returned to school, completing the bachelors of science in nursing program followed by the doctor of nursing practice (DNP) in the psychiatric specialty at OHSU. I have experience working with adolescents and adults in residential and outpatient settings. I now provide medication management and counseling in a therapeutic setting.
Part of my care philosophy is that every person deserves to be heard. It is my job to integrate my client’s experience and my knowledge to create a care partnership. While I was born in Portland, most of my childhood was spent in rural Oregon, so I have an appreciation for folks living in the rural communities of Oregon. I also love following LBCC and OSU women’s basketball! Go Roadrunners and Go Beavs!
