Welcome to my independent clinical psychology practice. Although my office is in the Core Vitality Naturopathic Clinic, I am the sole proprietor of my private practice and have no practice partners or office staff. I have a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and am a licensed psychologist. I provide integrative psychological services that are evidence-based and responsive to a diagnostically diverse population, as well as honoring human differences inherent in culture and ethnicity, gender and gender identity, religion and spirituality. I earned my Bachelors of Science Degree in Kinesiology/ Exercise Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and my Masters and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited Psy.D. Program at The California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in San Francisco, California. For ten years I provided outpatient services for private and community mental health clinics in San Francisco, and for Mills-Peninsula Health Services at Peninsula Hospital in the Bay Area, where I worked as a treatment coordinator and therapist on their adolescent and adult psychiatric in-patient units, out-patient clinics, and for their psychiatric emergency and intake departments conducting hospital-wide psychiatric evaluations. As a research scientist and educator, I co-edited the academic textbook anthology, Consciousness and Healing: Integral Approaches to Mind-Body Medicine (Churchill Livingston / Elsevier, 2005) and co-authored, Living Deeply: The Art and Science of Transformation in Everyday Life, (New Harbinger/ Noetic Books, Jan 2008), drawn from 7 years of research at The Institute of Noetic Sciences in Petaluma, California. I’ve developed and delivered educational programs for corporate, professional, university, and lay audiences on personal, social and ecological healing and transformation. In additional to working with individuals, I also work with couples, following the Gottman Method™ as a Gottman Certified Therapist.
