    Bio

After many years providing substance abuse and addiction therapy in outpatient, residential and wilderness therapy treatment programs, I am currently serving as Director and counselor for Cascade Pathways. The focus and strength of Cascade Pathways is to assist individuals struggling with any form of substance or behavioral addiction or abuse, for adults and adolescents. Cascade Pathways is certified in the state of Oregon to provide substance use disorder outpatient treatment and DUII treatment.

The program strives to have a non-judmental, non-institutionalized, respectful, and caring relationship to fully support the change and goals that a person most deeply desires. Sessions are individualized and therapy-oriented but can include education about the neurobiology of addiction, recognition of defense and denial mechanisms, learning healthy responses to triggers and cravings, deepening relapse prevention skills and healing relationships and trust with family and loved ones. When appropriate, group offerings may include: Men's Group, Women's Group, Adolescent Recovery, as well as groups supporting those who utilize medication-assisted treatments such as Suboxone, Naltrexone and Antabuse.

You are welcome to call to discuss the issue concerning you or a loved one and we’ll help you find the services that are most appropriate to your situation.
