Our Vision
EBHA is a coordinated association of behavioral health clinicians committed to preserving clinician independence, improving the quality of behavioral healthcare, and providing support for the success of our members.
Our Mission
EBHA provides a platform for member collaboration, efficient client referrals, treatment coordination, and professional education.
Why We Joined
“Working as a therapist can feel isolating as a professional. EBHA is an antidote to that. I can connect with colleagues on mutual interests, pursue continuing education locally, and have a positive impact on my community. The icing on the cake is that EBHA’s culture is fun, friendly and inclusive.”
Erica Prince, PhD – President
EBHA Governing Board Member
I’ve worked in mental health for forty years, both at a community mental health center and, for the last twelve years, in private practice. In a community practice there are many colleagues with whom to consult and collaborate. In private practice that is less available. I joined and support EBHA toward providing a venue for collaboration and connection via EBHA sponsored continuing education, social events, and ways yet to be determined.
Gary Barnes, LCSW
EBHA Member
I’ve been a clinical social worker for over 40 years, most of that time in private practice. I moved from the east coast to Corvallis in 2007 and currently specialize in offering energy psychology (often known as “tapping”), particularly to people who want to heal from trauma. I’ve really enjoyed both the trainings that EBHA has sponsored and the connection with other clinicians that EBHA makes possible. I was happy to join the board, both to be of service to the organization but also for the fun of having more opportunities to connect with such lovely people!
